Where Young Performers Build Confidence, Creativity, and a Show of Their Own
About us
At Lakeshore Performance Camp, young actors ages dive into the magical world of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, spending four weeks creating characters, learning stage skills, and building an original performance together through fun theatre games and creative collaboration.
Intro
Lakeshore Performance Camp is a youth theatre program designed to help children grow in confidence, creativity, and collaboration through the process of making a play together.
Our Philosophy
We believe children learn best when they are actively creating. Theatre gives young people the chance to speak boldly, move freely, solve problems together, and bring their imaginations to life.
At Lakeshore Performance Camp, the focus is not only on the final performance, but on the creative journey itself. Through games, improvisation, rehearsal, and collaboration, students learn that theatre is not about being perfect—it is about being brave, expressive, and connected to one another.
What Makes This Camp Special
This camp blends performance training with creative play. Students are not simply memorizing lines. They are exploring story, character, movement, voice, and ensemble as co-creators of the final show.
Lakeshore Performance Camp is a place where children can be imaginative, expressive, and fully themselves while learning the joy and discipline of theatre-making.
