About Us

Laikeshore Performance Camp is a youth theatre program designed to help children grow in confidence, creativity, and collaboration through the process of making a play together.

This summer, campers ages 9–11 will spend four weeks exploring A Midsummer Night’s Dream, one of Shakespeare’s most playful and magical stories. With its fairies, mischief, transformations, and humor, the play offers the perfect world for children to step into character, use their imaginations, and discover the joy of ensemble storytelling.

Our Philosophy

We believe children learn best when they are actively creating. Theatre gives young people the chance to speak boldly, move freely, solve problems together, and bring their imaginations to life.

At Laikeshore Performance Camp, the focus is not only on the final performance, but on the creative journey itself. Through games, improvisation, rehearsal, and collaboration, students learn that theatre is not about being perfect—it is about being brave, expressive, and connected to one another.

What Makes This Camp Special

This camp blends performance training with creative play. Students are not simply memorizing lines. They are exploring story, character, movement, voice, and ensemble as co-creators of the final show.

Our mission is to foster a love of learning through creativity.

"Creativity is intelligence having fun."
