FAQs

Does my child need prior acting experience?

1

No. The camp is open to both beginners and children with previous theatre experience.

Is Shakespeare too difficult for this age group?

2

Not at all. The play is introduced in a fun, age-appropriate, and accessible way through games, storytelling, and active exploration.

What if my child is shy?

3

That is completely okay. Theatre can be a wonderful way for shy children to build confidence at their own pace in a supportive environment.

What skills will my child gain?

4

Campers build confidence, communication, creativity, teamwork, stage presence, and storytelling skills.

At Laikeshore Performance Camp, children discover that their ideas matter, their voices have power, and creativity grows when they take risks and support one another.
